Camping Site

A beautiful, secluded valley site in the centre of Exmoor National Park.

Camp in mown meadows beside the River Exe. Bathe or Fish (no coarse fishing) on the 2 miles of the river Exe.

The campsite consists of 15 acres divided into 4 fields. All fields are in the valley adjacent to the river. The 1st field is hedged off from the river: the others are open to it. All told there is about 1/2 a mile of river frontage.

Most of our visitors come for Exmoor peace and quiet, to relax and unwind. If you can hear your own radio that's fine but if your neighbour can hear it that's not! More so at night ... especially as many of our visitors like to retire to bed before 11PM so we very much appreciate you helping us to run a quiet site at night.

There is a small Seasonal Shop - which opens for the second May Bank Holiday weekend. We have bread, milk, eggs, bacon etc. sourced locally: Conception to Consumption. Try some of our home grown FREE RANGE meat: Beef and Lamb and Pork, 'Lamb/Mint', 'Pork/Apple' Burgers, Sausages, Bacon and Award winning FREE RANGE Aberdeen Angus Beef. We allow BBQ's as long as they are placed off the ground, so they don't burn the grass.
